Help build the practice from the beginning.
Westport Longevity, Pain & Performance is assembling a small, senior team before its July 2027 opening. We are looking for people who want meaningful ownership, direct collaboration, and the chance to shape how exceptional care and communication are delivered.
Find the seat where your work will matter.
Every role is different, but the standard is the same: excellent judgment, genuine warmth, reliable execution, and a willingness to help build rather than simply inherit.

Founding Physical Therapist — Concierge PT & Human Performance
Build and lead a one-on-one, cash-based rehabilitation and performance program without the volume pressures of traditional outpatient care.
Founding Physical Therapist — Concierge PT & Human Performance
Build and lead a one-on-one, cash-based rehabilitation and performance program without the volume pressures of traditional outpatient care.
Most outpatient physical therapists spend their day moving between several patients, documenting through lunch, and trying to deliver thoughtful care inside a productivity model built around volume. This is the opposite of that.
We are building a physician-led interventional pain, longevity, and human performance practice around a small, senior clinical team. Physical therapy will be concierge and cash-based. Most sessions will be private and one-on-one, with the time and autonomy to assess, treat, train, and progress each client properly.
You will not simply inherit someone else’s protocols, schedule, or gym. You will help design the physical therapy and performance space, build the clinical model, shape the client experience, and take genuine ownership of the department you are helping create.
What you will own
- Concierge, individualized physical therapy for active adults, with enough time to adjust each session to what the client actually needs.
- Care across the continuum: preventive movement work, post-injury and post-operative rehabilitation, spine and sports care, and return to activity.
- Post-procedure rehabilitation coordinated directly with the physician team after injections, radiofrequency ablation, PRP, and other interventional or regenerative treatments.
- Strength and performance programming, including progressive loading, foundational lifts, training modification, and transition from rehabilitation to independent performance work.
- Program design, reassessment standards, documentation workflows, package structure, gym flow, equipment selection, and the overall client experience.
- Direct clinical coordination with the physician team when a client is not progressing as expected.
What we are looking for
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Active Connecticut physical therapist license, or eligibility for Connecticut licensure.
- At least two years of post-licensure experience; five or more years strongly preferred.
- Strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal examination skills, with comfort managing post-operative, spine, sports, and general musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
- Confidence with progressive strength training and exercise prescription.
- Excellent communication, genuine warmth with clients, and a low-ego collaborative style.
- An ownership mindset and interest in helping build a department from the ground up.
- OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT, CSCS, cash-based practice experience, personal training, or return-to-sport expertise are valued but not required.
What makes this different
- Concierge, cash-based model with mostly private, one-on-one sessions.
- No double-booking, crowded clinic floor, insurance authorization battles, or visit-per-hour productivity quota.
- Genuine authority over program design, progression, equipment, and client experience.
- Four-day clinical week; no call, nights, or weekends.
- Health benefits, paid time off, paid continuing education, and a quarterly performance bonus tied to quality, client experience, department performance, and responsible growth.
- A real path to lead physical therapy and performance as the practice expands.
Compensation, timing & application
- $125,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus quarterly performance bonus. Placement within the range depends on clinical experience, advanced training, performance background, leadership ability, and readiness to build the program from day one.
- The practice opens in July 2027. We are interviewing now so the founding physical therapist can help shape the gym, equipment, clinical model, and client experience before opening.
- Apply with your resume and a short note describing your orthopedic and performance background, the clients with whom you do your best work, and what you want in your next role.

Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) — Interventional Pain & Human Performance
Run live fluoroscopy beside the physician, help establish in-house imaging, and shape the department from its first day.
Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) — Interventional Pain & Human Performance
Run live fluoroscopy beside the physician, help establish in-house imaging, and shape the department from its first day.
Most imaging jobs put you in a dark room, hand you a worklist, and measure you by throughput. This role is different.
You will be the imaging professional in a small, senior clinical team—working shoulder to shoulder with the physician during live fluoroscopic spine and joint procedures, acquiring musculoskeletal radiographs, and helping build the imaging operation from the ground up.
You will not be one of dozens of technologists rotating through a department. Your judgment, technical skill, and patient presence will directly shape how procedure days run.
What you will own
- Live C-arm imaging for epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, joint procedures, and tendon interventions.
- Patient positioning, sterile-field awareness, radiation safety, optimal views, and anticipating the next image before it is requested.
- In-house musculoskeletal and orthopedic radiography, including spine, extremity, and weight-bearing series.
- Planned DEXA workflows for bone density and performance-focused body composition analysis as the program expands.
- Procedure preparation, room turnover, dressings, equipment readiness, and the operational details that keep the day calm and efficient.
- Imaging protocols, QA, radiation safety systems, equipment workflow, and future modality planning.
What we are looking for
- ARRT (R) certification and an active Connecticut radiographer license, or eligibility for licensure.
- At least two years of post-certification experience; five or more years strongly preferred.
- Hands-on C-arm and fluoroscopy experience. Pain management, orthopedic, surgical, or procedural-suite experience is ideal.
- Comfort in a sterile procedural environment and disciplined attention to radiation safety and ALARA practice.
- Warmth with patients who may be anxious, uncomfortable, or frustrated after navigating other practices.
- Curiosity about regenerative medicine, recovery, performance physiology, and how outpatient medicine is evolving.
- A flexible, low-ego approach to working within a small team during the launch phase.
What makes this different
- No call, nights, or weekends, with a four-day clinical week.
- A small senior team and direct daily access to the physician—without layers of management.
- Health benefits, paid time off, and paid continuing education toward advanced certification.
- Quarterly performance bonus tied to clinical quality, patient experience, and responsible practice growth.
- Meaningful ownership of imaging protocols, safety, workflow, and quality from the beginning.
- A credible path to lead imaging as additional modalities and locations are added.
Compensation, timing & application
- $50–$65 per hour, plus quarterly performance bonus. Placement within the range depends on experience, depth of fluoroscopy background, and additional certifications.
- The practice opens in July 2027. Early conversations are confidential and carry no obligation; an offer can be made well in advance so the right candidate has time to plan a transition.
- Apply with your resume and a short note about your fluoroscopy experience and what you are seeking in your next role.

Gap-Year Medical Assistant — Interventional Pain, Longevity & Human Performance
Take on a true clinical role, learn directly from the founding physician, and help build the patient experience and daily systems of a new practice.
Gap-Year Medical Assistant — Interventional Pain, Longevity & Human Performance
Take on a true clinical role, learn directly from the founding physician, and help build the patient experience and daily systems of a new practice.
This is a hands-on medical assistant position—not a paid shadowing role. You will room patients, take vitals, update histories, prepare procedure rooms, assist the clinical team, and help keep the day moving safely and calmly.
You will also see the practice being built from the beginning: how rooms are organized, how workflows are designed, how patients move through an interventional office, and how small operational decisions shape the quality of care.
You will work closely with Dr. Adam Nessim, the founding physician and an After Premed mentor. Teaching is part of the culture, but the learning comes through real responsibility, close observation, feedback, and consistent work over time.
What you will do
- Room patients; obtain vitals; confirm medications, allergies, histories, and the reason for the visit; and help make each encounter clinically organized from the start.
- Prepare and turn over examination and procedure rooms, maintain supplies, support sterile setup and takedown, assist with positioning, and help with dressings and post-procedure flow within your training and permitted responsibilities.
- Support a calm patient experience for people who may be in pain, worried, or frustrated after prior care elsewhere.
- Help with intake workflows, follow-up tasks, inventory, procedure-day checklists, equipment organization, and the small systems that make a high-functioning clinic feel effortless to the patient.
- Work closely with the physician and senior clinical team, ask thoughtful questions at appropriate times, and learn how interventional pain, sports medicine, longevity, and human performance decisions are made.
- On lighter days, contribute to patient education, community events, content filming, launch preparation, and other work that helps establish the practice. These responsibilities support—not replace—the clinical core of the role.
What we are looking for
- A graduating college student, recent graduate, or gap-year applicant preparing for medical school or another clinical career.
- The ability to commit full-time for approximately one year beginning around the July 2027 opening; a longer commitment is welcome.
- Genuine warmth with patients and the maturity to communicate professionally in a clinical environment.
- Comfort around needles, blood, procedures, and a fast-moving procedure day—or a clear willingness to become comfortable through training.
- Strong organization, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay composed when several tasks need attention at once.
- A low-ego, collaborative style and willingness to help with both visible clinical work and less glamorous operational tasks.
- Prior medical assistant, scribe, EMT, CNA, research, or patient-facing experience is helpful but not required. BLS certification by the start date is strongly preferred.
What makes this different
- Direct daily work with the founding physician and a small senior clinical team.
- Real exposure to interventional pain, spine, sports medicine, longevity, regenerative care, and human performance.
- A founding seat: you help shape room flow, intake, supplies, documentation habits, and the patient experience rather than inheriting a mature system.
- No nights, weekends, or call under the anticipated clinical schedule.
- The kind of sustained working relationship that can support a detailed future professional recommendation when earned.
- Meaningful responsibility with close feedback—not observation from the hallway.
Timing & application
- Westport Longevity, Pain & Performance opens in July 2027, and we are beginning conversations now so the person selected can plan the year and participate in pre-opening preparation.
- Early conversations are informal, confidential, and carry no obligation. If the fit is strong on both sides, an offer can be made well before opening.
- Apply with your resume and a short note. Tell us where you are in the premedical or pre-health process, when you can start, and why this is the kind of gap year you want.

Videographer & Video Editor — Medical Education & Brand Content
Create a distinctive visual language and recurring library of physician-led educational, launch, procedure, and performance content.
Videographer & Video Editor — Medical Education & Brand Content
Create a distinctive visual language and recurring library of physician-led educational, launch, procedure, and performance content.
We are not looking for generic healthcare B-roll or a one-time office tour. We are looking for a videographer and editor who can build a recognizable body of work with us over time—from the pre-opening story through the daily life of the practice.
The content will range from polished physician-led education and short-form social video to longer conversations, practice-launch stories, performance demonstrations, community events, and carefully selected clinical or procedural footage when consent and privacy requirements are satisfied.
You will collaborate directly with the founding physician and social media/content strategist. The goal is a production system that feels premium and human, but is efficient enough to publish consistently.
What you will own
- Pre-production planning, shot lists, location and equipment planning, interview setup, lighting, audio, camera operation, and efficient content-day workflows.
- Directing physicians, clinicians, staff, and other non-actors so they appear credible, comfortable, and natural on camera.
- Vertical short-form edits, longer-form educational video, founder stories, practice-launch content, testimonials when appropriately consented, event coverage, and selective photography when useful.
- Clean editing, pacing, color, sound mix, captions, basic motion graphics, branded text treatments, thumbnails or cover frames, and multiple platform-ready versions.
- A repeatable asset system: organized footage, naming conventions, backups, project files, releases, and a searchable library that can be repurposed over time.
- Procedure and clinical-environment filming that respects patient consent, privacy, sterile workflow, staff direction, and the fact that patient care always takes priority over the shot.
- Close coordination with the content strategist so production choices support the editorial calendar and each shoot produces a useful volume of high-quality assets.
What we are looking for
- A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating interview, educational, documentary, brand, fitness, healthcare, or social-first video work.
- Excellent command of camera, lighting, and especially audio. Access to a professional production kit—or the ability to specify and manage the required equipment—is expected.
- Fluency in both vertical and horizontal storytelling, with the judgment to adapt pacing and framing without making every format look the same.
- Reliable editing and delivery, organized file management, responsiveness to feedback, and the ability to maintain consistency across a recurring content program.
- Comfort directing busy professionals who may have limited time and limited on-camera experience.
- Discretion, professionalism, and mature judgment in a medical environment.
- Experience with medical, fitness, performance, luxury, hospitality, or founder-led brands is helpful but not required. Motion graphics and photography are meaningful advantages.
What makes this different
- A recurring creative partnership rather than a single promotional shoot.
- A ground-floor opportunity to define the lighting, framing, sound, editing language, and production system of a new brand.
- Direct access to the physician and content lead, with fewer layers between an idea and execution.
- Substantive material: clinical education, human performance, procedures, rehabilitation, practice-building, and real patient questions.
- The chance to create a coherent portfolio of work across pre-launch, opening, and ongoing growth—not a set of disconnected deliverables.
- Flexible engagement structure for the right person, with on-site filming in Westport and remote editing possible when appropriate.
Timing & application
- The practice opens in July 2027, with pre-launch filming beginning earlier. Shoot frequency will increase as the opening approaches and the practice becomes operational.
- Apply with a resume or brief professional background, your reel or portfolio, typical availability, and whether you are seeking a staff, part-time, or recurring project-based relationship.
- Include one example that best demonstrates how you make an expert or founder feel natural and compelling on camera.
Application form
Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
Westport Longevity, Pain & Performance is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and the needs of the practice.
Founding Social Media & Content Strategist — Medical, Longevity & Performance
Own the editorial strategy, voice, publishing system, and audience growth for a physician-led practice before and after launch.
We are not looking for someone to simply “post on Instagram.” We are looking for the person who can help define how a new physician-led practice communicates: what we teach, how we explain it, which stories we tell, and how every piece of content supports trust rather than noise.
The practice sits at the intersection of interventional pain, longevity medicine, rehabilitation, regenerative care, and human performance. The content should make complex topics clear, compelling, and useful without slipping into hype, fear, or unsupported medical claims.
You will work directly with the founding physician and collaborate closely with the videographer. The videographer will own polished production; you will own the editorial system, platform strategy, copy, distribution, community, and learning loop.
